"Todd Lemoine is a singer/songwriter who resides in Covington, Louisiana. He has recorded 5 albums and played with many notable musicians and bands, such as Dax Riggs and Dash Rip Rock. In 2001, Todd had a top 20 radio hit in Australia with his song "One Way Mirror.” He has recorded albums with such renowned engineers as Dave Fortman (Godsmack), Gene Foster (Kansas), and Ben Mumphry (The Pixies). Presently, Todd is composing songs for movie soundtracks and recording a new album. He frequently performs solo acoustic shows in the Greater New Orleans area and has played at popular venues such as The House of Blues, Whiskey a Go-Go, Howlin Wolf, One-Eyed Jacks, Varsity Theatre, and Vinyl Music Hall.
Lemoine began playing guitar at the age of 5, citing Eddie Van Halen as his biggest influence. Upon entering high school, his musical influence expanded from thrash and punk to include alternative rock and grunge. It was at this time that Todd started singing and composing. Over the last 10 years, he has acted as lead singer and guitarist in many bands, most notably the late 90's alternative rock bands “Longplay” and “For Karma.” The latter produced 2 albums-"Fiver" in 2004, and "The Angels Took the Stairs" in 2009. Lemoine also recorded a solo album in 2001 called “The Lost Highway”, and in 2013 he released two singles "The Prize" and "Ghost in Me” in which he played all the instruments.
On July 15, 2017, "The Hyperion Initiative" album featuring Todd and Sean Dunaway, of 12 Stones, was released. It is a science-fiction hard rock concept album that is heavily influenced by post- hardcore and synthwave. The project was born out of Lemoine’s wish to collaborate with Dunaway, and Dunaway’s wish to hone his recording skills. Once they began, everything fell into place, with each challenging the other’s creative limits. Due to the inconvenience of working between their busy schedules, it took two years to complete the album. Lemoine believes it was time well spent, as the album perfectly conveys his vision. Todd and Sean recorded, engineered, mixed, and mastered everything themselves on a laptop computer. Todd’s influences for the project included Coheed and Cambria, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. Now that the album is out, he has already begun composing his next album.
As of May 2019, Todd released a electronic music album called "Blazer Cru". The focus, of which, is instrumental synthesized music or synthwave.
He also performs with the celtic folk punk band "Acoustapunks". He has been the lead singer and guitarist since it's inception in 2016.
He is also a sought-after music teacher in guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano."
